It’s more than a little ironic that in my personal life I’ve never been an early adopter of new technology and my philosophy has usually been to use it until it breaks. Today, I can’t imagine what my life would be like without my iPhone and all the apps I utilize every single day. Just think – the iPhone was first introduced only 12 short years ago and it has completely changed the way we interact, socialize, and conduct our daily lives.
Many banks seem to struggle with the fact that they must change their legacy technologies and operations to better serve their customers in this new digital world. Being slow to adopt new technology and thinking you can use it until it breaks no longer works! You risk losing your customers in the next wave of the digital revolution.
